Ability to share folders to the document section of the client portal. Global "Documents Tab". Folder template structure: Ability to create folder template structures that can be duplicated to clients (like duplicating projects). The ability to have a folder structure automatically get applied to new clients when created

It would be extremely helpful if the Client Uploads section within Reports allowed us to mark each document in some way. Whether it is "reviewed" or "not reviewed" or whatever setup makes sens. I just want to be able to navigate to this client uploads section and look up the client and print all their documents at the same time. Like boxes on each line to select the documents you want to open or at least mark them reviewed or not reviewed. This is because clients for tax season will upload bits and pieces of their documents if the system worked in this way, I would be saving massive amounts of time. Hope this makes sense and if anybody has questions I would be happy to discuss. Thank you for all you guys do!

Remove that extra page where they have to select their profile if they have one one account when you first click documents & take them directly into the folders unless they have more than one client. The ability to not notify a client when sharing and specify who gets notified on the team. Show a dialog that asks whether we should notify contacts. Have the portal branding on the shared folder and file notifications.When you duplicate a folder structure to clients the ability to auto share those folders as well so they don't have to go into each client to do it

It woiuld be great to be able to assign a virtual drive letter to the portal and make it accessible in Windows Explorer or other file managers. For example, make the portal accessible as drive P.

It would be a great feature if you could edit client documents that are in the project documents and have them save in real-time. Its kind of a pain when client upload documents and then you need to edit or highlight something for the project but then you have to download it make changes and reupload it.

some tax clients have businesses that are separate accounts in FC and client have a tendency to put all the files in their personal account. I would like to move the files to their business account. I know I could have a personal account that also holds their businesses but keeping these in separate accounts is more streamlined. also some personal clients who have children that have tax returns put all the info in one account.

Many CRMs allow documents to be merged when uploaded by a client. It would be extremely helpful if selected client documents could be merged and converted to a single PDF once they are obtained in client tasks.

Create a location where we can see all files that a customer has uploaded so that we don't have to guess what folder they are in. It should be sortable and easy to get to to avoid hunting for uploads. Still retain the folder structure so that staff know where items belong, but make it easier to see at a glance whether we have items at all...

Currently, when a file is deleted from the Files section, it is permanently removed with no recovery option or log history. This poses a significant risk, especially in the accounting industry, where maintaining records is crucial. I'd like to suggest implementing a file recovery feature (e.g., a Trash Bin for all uploaded files) and a deletion log to track when and by whom a file was deleted. This would help prevent accidental data loss and enhance security.

Ability to edit PDFs within Project Files/Client Files (whether with Adobe, PDFlyer, etc.)
