Right now, when you close a project, all open tasks are marked complete, and any automated emails tied to those tasks are sent. I would love for no emails to be sent when closing a project. At the very least, it would be great to be more easily able to identify which tasks have an email automation so we can manually disable that first.

Some tasks need to be completed by the 3rd Tuesday of a month, or be done every Thursday. In Projects currently the only option for due dates is a Calendar date, which will be the same date but a different day from month to month. Option to add a due date on a task level based on the specific day of week or month would be very helpful and cut down on additional work to update those due dates for every client for every recurrance.

Currently automation are extremely limited inside of of projects. I can trigger tags, emails or a new project (which is currently broken) and that's it.I would love to see an option to assign a task or update a due date of a task by completing another task in a sort of dependency type system (i.e. When X task is complete, make task Y due in 1 day and assign to NAME)I would also love to see forms that can trigger automation so depending on what is checked on the form it would kick off certain projects for that client. (and create the client if needed)  I know something similar can probably be achieved via zapier but it would be nice to have more control of automation inside of the platform directly so we aren't relying on third party tools.

We would like to see a print driver from our tax software, Lacerte to financial cents to automate our work.

When a new CLIENT contact is created, we currently have to send them a task or create a folder with them added in order for an invitation to be sent. This has created communication issues between me and my clients whom I believe are already invited to the system because i set up their profile.

We often begin projects (like benefit plan audits) months in advance, but not every task is immediately actionable. It would be helpful to set task due dates based on dependencies — so a task’s due date (and “overdue” status) is triggered only after a prior task is completed.

Is there a setting for projects to automatically be tagged as "Waiting on Client" once the start date arrives? It would be nice to be able to designate this on projects where the client has not yet provided anything and to distinguish this from projects that are impossible to start early since the accounting period has not elapsed yet (i.e. payroll). For example, if a client provides me their timesheet every Wednesday, once that Wednesday arrives I want the tag to say Waiting on Client but I do not want it to be tagged that way before Wednesday. Some clients are old-school and will not be using a portal so I would like this option without relying on automations stemming from portal uploads

A new task (or task section) populates if another task or project is marked as complete. Oftentimes, I don't want to create a new project, only a new task or task section on the current project.

Ability to assign engagement letters to project templates so when a project is created, the engagement letter is sent to the client

Could we have a way to ONLY make projects reoccur once a project is closed? Not just closed or past due date? I don't see any way to control the regeneration of projects besides if it closed before due date or if the due date occurs and it is not closed. This makes more and more projects auto generate and make things very crowded and clunky, even confusing. The only other way I can see right now is turning the auto-reoccur off which has the risk of employees not generating the next project needed. I feel like this option would be helpful keeping things less chaotic if things get behind.
