Currently, it appears that an email notification is sent when a client uploads multiple documents to a client task and just says that the client “uploaded several documents” and there is no indication on the client task level within a project that a new document has been uploaded. I would like to see a notification on the client task level when a new document is uploaded to that client task, similar to the way that it is being done for comments posted by the client to a client task.

Once a notification is opened and READ it should be moved to READ rather than having to physically check it. Or have a flagging option for READ or Keep/Priority.

Notification improvements (reduce the noise)

It would be great if "similar" notifications could be combined into one. For example if a client uploads multiple documents, it would be great to get one notification saying they uploaded (12 documents) rather than getting 12 separate notifications.

I’d like to see more customizable notification options on the admin side of billing. Currently, I receive a single end-of-day summary for all invoices, both one-off and recurring. It would be helpful to tailor these notifications more precisely. For example, I’d like the option to: Choose whether to receive notifications for one-off invoices, recurring invoices, or both Only be notified if an invoice fails Receive notifications in real-time as a client pays (rather than a daily summary) This would help cut down on unnecessary alerts while ensuring I don’t miss critical billing events.

The clients are getting too many notifications and it is causing them to ignore them

Get a Notification X days before due date or day before or day off.

It would be helpful to have a title "Notifications" in the left Navigation like Workflows. Emails, Clients, etc. Then have sub topics of Notifications for: Projects, Dependencies, Mentions(Team Chat), Client Chat. If it then, on the Navigation title and subtitles have an indicator that there are new messages, and also have indicators on each Sub-Topic that has new notifications. The indicator could be a colored dot, or even better a number to indicate the number of new notifications. Particularly in Team Chat / @ Mentions. Once all are "read" the dot disappears, or the number reduces by the number read. Obviously the colored dot would be easier to program, which would still be pretty great! ATI:nso

Similar to Basecamp, having the option to mark a notification as "Don't Forget" which is pinned and compiled at the top of your notifications list. Very useful in Basecamp!

Could a new menu be added to house all team and client communications? I'm thinking the main communications menu, with team chats and client chats as submenus. They would then house all the chats to save a step of having to go into each client or miss a notification.
