A new task (or task section) populates if another task or project is marked as complete. Oftentimes, I don't want to create a new project, only a new task or task section on the current project.

100%. We have some complicated workflows that need to trigger tasks or at least new task due dates and assignees when a previous task or section is complete. Currently to do this we would need to build several project templates instead which is really messy especially when they need updated.
