Start the clock before details are filled in

The time clock won't start until a client and project are selected. This drives me nuts, because I frequently finish one task and then take a few minutes scanning my to-do list and emails assessing what project to transition to. In order to accurately report my time, I have to tediously create tiny 2-5 minute admin time entries for these transitions. More importantly, companies with hourly employees need to cautiously avoid requiring tasks to be done that don't get included in a timesheet. A few minutes here and there may fall under de minimus allowances, but if hourly employees are doing lots of short tasks throughout the day, then I worry that the aggregate unpaid time spent filling out Financial Cents's time card could add up to a wage-theft lawsuit.
