ReCats - Product/Service option and ability to accept transaction using other transaction types

These are two things that make ReCats almost unusable to me right now.
Many of my clients require that invoices are posted using products/services instead of categories (integrations with their construction management systems). Right now, I either have to post them to categories and then go into QBO and make the changes (really tough to track and time consuming). We need the ability to post transactions to EITHER categories OR P/S.
The second issue is when there is a transaction that is either a bill payment, deposit receipt, invoice payment, etc. (anything other than just a simple expense). For example, if a client says "this is payment for invoices # ___ and ___", there's no way for me to post that to AR under the customer's name (even if I would have to match the invoices afterwards, I am willing to do that), because AR can't receive transactions with tax tracking. SO I have to delete all of these, lose the info that the client wrote in the description, and post them in QBO. We need the ability to use transaction types like transfer, deposit, etc. which would bypass the need for a tax code.

We had a nice list of clients we thought would be great for the recat feature. However, we cannot use this feature on any of the clients, because we need to be able to have customer, class, and projects to categorize correctly.

Jennifer Sanders If you double click on transactions in recat you can enter customer/project!

Nick Cobos since you were so helpful previously, I have another question. If we code in QBO, fill in the vendor and use uncategorized, the transaction doesn’t show up in re-cat. Is that your experience?

Jennifer Sanders I don't think that's been an issue for us but I'll check with my team and see. Our main client who requires class tracking uses dext to push the transactions into QBO so that may be a contributing factor to us not having experienced that issue

I second these frustrations, in addition to, preserving the client answers--I would also like to see an audit trail of the information via recats recorded for each transaction in QBO such as date/time/client responses.
I would like the ability to create a vendor/customer on the ReCat screen (not sure if there possible?)
All features of whats already available in the Bank feed would be great (product/service, create a vendor/customer)
