Current Zapier support only allows creating, deleting, or updating an account name, which is too limited for firms that want to pull project and task data into other tools (for example, building Gantt or Kanban views externally). Firms want a more open API or webhook access so they can build custom integrations and data exports beyond what Zapier currently supports.

Loving FC, but a couple things I would like to see :

Projects endpoint: We couldn’t find a way to create a project via API. If it exists, point us to it. If not, a POST /projects (plus basic updates) would make our Trello to FC migration so much easier.

Automation hooks: webhooks are on the pipeline ? We use an unofficial WhatsApp API (most of our clients prefer WhatsApp over email/SMS - mostly non-residents and immigrants) and would love to have some actions triggering messages there instead of email.

Agentic AI-ready: A slightly wider API surface (and, dream big, MCP-friendly down the road) would unlock tons of automated workflows. I know shipping features is not easy, so this would alleviate the pressure as more people could build their custom solutions (vibecoding is better than zapier, imo)
