Multiple specified roles

I love the roles feature when creating a template, but please allow us to select multiple roles to be auto assigned when creating a project. Be able to select, for example, "Bookkeeper" and "Reviewer" the same way as it is possible to select multiple team members after the project is created. Many projects have tasks that need to have multiple team members working on it. It is labor intensive to go through and add all the team members that need to see a task after the task has been created.

Amanda Aparicio Hi Amanda! Not quite, I'd like to be able to assign a single team member to those roles but select MULTIPLE roles (bookkeeper, reviewer, admin) to assign to a single task. For example, on the ones that I currently have as "Not Specified", I'd really like to have the Manager, Admin, and Reviewer roles selected so that when the project is made from the template it auto assigns those people to the task. Otherwise, I have to go through and manually add additional people after. Similarly to when assigning team members to a task after the project is created, you can select multiple people. With the roles function, you can't select multiple.

Natalie Brown, ah okay! Thank you for clarifying! Could you give me an example scenario of when you need multiple roles assigned to the same task? (that way, I can better understand the use case/pain point)

Amanda Aparicio Of course! So, the best example would be our "New Client Set-Up" template. It's pretty exhaustive and some of the tasks require the Admin (me), my Boss, and my Manager. I've attached a picture for reference. The "Not Specific" tasks will need to appear on the Workflow of all 3 of the individuals I named previously. Usually I would be the one making notes and marking things as complete but it needs to be easily visible and on the radar of all 3 of us. Ideally, that would mean that when changing it from "Not Specified" on the template, I could select THREE roles instead of only being able to select one. When CREATING the project, I would then set who is Admin, who is Manager, and who is Boss and it would auto-populate multiple team members onto that singular task. If this was possible, then I wouldn't have to go through and manually add the team members after the project has already been created. I hope that makes sense, let me know if I can clarify further!

Natalie Brown: yes, that helps! Thank you!

Natalie Brown, just to make sure I'm understanding, you're want the ability to see/modify this screen
after
the project has been created, correct?
