First and Last Name in separate fields

We need the option to put clients in with first name and last name in separate fields, as well as the contact names. The client names cannot be sorted by last name which is confusing when looking at projects. And the contact names show up in our email templates as the full first and last name, such as Hi John Doe, which sounds silly. Would like emails to say "Hi John" or something like that.

I agree with both of those suggestions! When you have thousands of clients, it is difficult to find your client in the first name-last name format. More people have the same first name than they do last name. I find it very frustrating.

Yes, agreed! It would be ideal to be able to sort clients by last name instead of first name. And the email templates need a less formal greeting of first name only.
