Default Client Task options - not recurring

Currently, if you create a client task in a recurring project, the default is for it to recur. Our preference is to NOT recur. Which means we have to deselect each time. It would be great to either have the default to be not recurring, or have a global settings option for our company to determine the various defaults for the way we run things.

I agree with this, and would add that it is currently 3 clicks to change recurring/not recurring once a task has been created, and it would be better if that could be reduced. I would imagine a column on the task list with a checkbox would help with visibility into whether a task recurs or is a one-off, and would also help with reducing the number of clicks necessary to toggle on/off.

This would work perfectly for our firm if it could be toggled per section as our tax return projects have a section that we purposely want to recur (things we will be needing in future years), but then another client task request section that is specific to the current year being worked on

Would be great to have the global option to either check or leave unchecked the recur with project box within each client task. It is time consuming to uncheck this box within each client task. It also causes the task to be sent to the client when it recurs if the option is missed for the prior year and setup for automatic reminders.
