Ability to make a client's old email 'inactive' without losing email history saved to FC

Currently if a client is no longer using an email on an account, would need to delete the email from the contact's section so it is no longer listed. This would remove email history from the auto-synched email tab. We need to be able to maintain the history while not listing the email as a means of contacting the client in the contacts section.

We have clients with high turnover in their business. We understand that if we remove the contact from the client profile the emails associated to that contact will be removed from the profile.
We are looking for the ability to archive a contact so that it remains on the profile historically but the contact will not have access to any folders/client tasks/chats, but we will still be able to see their emails in the client's emails tab.
