Ability to Automate Task Due Date Reminders in Templates
N
Nicholas Grabowsky
Allow an automation in the workflow template itself to notify assigned individuals of a task's due date, not just the overall due date. So when creating recurring workflows for tax season, we don't have to remember to go into each workflow to set notifications for task due dates.

Nicholas Grabowsky, could you kindly clarify? On project templates, you
do
have the ability to set relational due dates on tasks (see screenshot). When you create the project, the due date will get set based on the project's overall due date. Is that what you were looking for? Or something else?

Amanda Aparicio I wrote an entire reply just to realize I was thinking of something else. My request isn't really in regards to setting due dates, rather just notifying assinged individuals of task due dates, not only overall project due dates. For example, if a project due date is 7/20, but a task due date is 7/15, I believe it only notifies them of the 7/20 date, not the 7/15 date.

Nicholas Grabowsky: Ah okay! For your updated question, you do have the ability to set reminders on a task-by-task basis within the
project
but not on the template
level. For the project level, you'd open the task, and select "Add reminder" to set how many days before the due date you want to be reminded (see screenshot). Is that what you were looking for? Or are you instead looking for the reminders on the project template level?

Amanda Aparicio On the template level. For me, the main use would be to set it so that "once task a is completed, task b is due 14 days later" or something along those lines.
