"Next Task Due Date" Column, Bulk Hide Transactions, Signature Request Improvement, and Invoice Details API
We released several enhancements this week!
- "Next Task Due Date" Column on Workflows
- Bulk Hide Transactions in Month End Close reports
- Improvements to Client Signature Requests on Client Tasks
- API for the Invoice Detailspage
"Next Task Due Date" Column
You can now see the due date of the next, incomplete task directly from the
Workflow > Projects
dashboard.
This makes it easier to, at a glance, see what projects have a task with an upcoming deadline.
As a quick tip/reminder, you can modify which columns display in the
Workflow > Projects
page via the gear icon in the top right corner.
You can use this gear icon to display (or hide) the "Next Task Due Date" column for your view (as well as place columns in your preferred order).
Bulk Hide Transactions in Month End Close reports
We heard your feedback from chatting into our support team, and we brought back the functionality to bulk hide transactions from the Month End Close reports!
To hide one or more transactions, click the checkbox to select the desired items, and then click "Bulk Hide".

This will remove the selected transactions from all reports as well as remove them from the client portal without modifying the transaction within QuickBooks Online. As a note, you can view (and unhide) hidden transactions via the "Hidden" tab, if needed.
Improvements to Client Signature Requests on Client Tasks
Previously, if you sent a document for signature to a client via a client task, clients were still able to mark the task as "Complete" even if they hadn't signed the document yet.
Now, we disable the "Complete" checkbox on client tasks where a signature is requested and mark it complete on behalf of the client once the file is actually signed.

This prevents clients from marking signature tasks as "done" when no signature has yet been provided!
API for the
Invoice Details
pageLastly, we released yet another new API. Now, you can use our endpoint to access the details of an invoice, like what can be found on the
Invoice Details
page. For more information on this API, see our API documentation here!
