Approve Vendors without a W-9, Client Resources Available on Projects, and Email Filters
We released several improvements this past week:
- W-9 no longer required to approve a vendor in the 1099 and W-9 Preparationreport
- Resources added to a client can easily be added to a project
- New filters to see emails pinned to projects at the client level
W-9 No Longer Required
We received a lot of feedback from our Facebook community that it would be beneficial to approve a vendor in the
1099 and W-9 Preparation
report without
uploading a W-9 (for example, the W-9 was already available in QuickBooks Online or stored in a separate system). As a result, we no longer require a W-9 to be provided when approving a vendor 🎉 We hope this helps with the 1099 preparation season!
Client Resources Available on Projects
Previously, resources that had been added on the client level were not accessible at the project level, meaning that if you wanted to add a client resource to a project, you had to locate the desired resource on the client then copy and paste the information over.
With this improvement, when you click to add a resource to a
project
, we show a dropdown so you can either select an existing resource from the client profile or create a new resource for the project altogether.
Email Filters at the Client Level
Previously, you could only see emails pinned to the client on the
Client Details
page. Now, we've added additional filtering so that you can see:- Emails auto-pinned to the client (like before)
- Emails pinned to open projects
- Emails pinned to closed projects

This should improve visibility of emails related to either your client directly or work being done for your client.
